Pokémon Unite: Genggar Guide - Build, Items & Games

Gengar is Inpokémon Unite a scary Speedster with a violent attack kombbo and a lot of damage. Meinmmo shows you with this build and guide, as you master the poltergeist.

What is Gengar for a Pokémon? Gengar is the classic among the Ghost Pokémon and has been one of the Monster Universum since the first generation. The figure is quasi only from a nasty face and has certainly already taken care of in the dreams of such a pokémon fans for uproar.

In Pokémon Unite Gengar is a Speedster with high damage, but only little synergies with other Pokémon. As a Gengar, she likes to do your own thing and uses your combos to tore at the right moment. Meinmmo shows you in the guide as you benefit from the strong attacks of the grusligen Speedster:

  • Best Items and Skills for Gengar
  • Strengths and weaknesses of Gengar
  • Who should Gengar play and on which Lane?
  • Design for early, Mid and endgame

Gengar Build - best items and skills

We have put together a quick overview with the strongest attacks and items:

Where does the guide come from? To create the guide, we looked at Gameplay to Gengar and experienced the Speedster in the game itself. Author Maik Schneider can also look back in many thousand matches in Third-Person-Moba Smite and has already rummaged a few dozen matches in Pokémon Unite.

Which skills should use Gengar? The attack mix of Sludge Bomb and Hex ensures the best synergies in Gengar's strongest role on the Mid-Lane.

Sludge Bomb is a "ranged" attack, causing damage to the impact and poisoned enemies. The poison makes the opponent to a victim of Hex, a "dash" attack. If you engage in the poisoned enemy with HEX, the damage increases and the cooldown is greatly shortened. You can then use Hex almost immediately. Either as flight or further attack. This also works with other status changes - to trigger the effect of hex, the enemy must not necessarily be poisoned.

Attacks-cooldown:

  • First slot
    • Will-O-WISP / RANGED - 5 seconds
    • Shadow Ball / Ranged - 4,5 seconds
    • Sludge Bomb / Area - 8 seconds
  • Second slot
    • Lick / Area - 7 seconds
    • Dream Eater / Ranged - 8 seconds
    • Hex / Dash - 7.5 seconds

The other two attacks "Shadow Ball" and "Dream Eater" can not keep up with damage. Although strong combos are possible here, even if you work with other players, but on the Mid-Lane, the combo from Sludge Bomb and Hex is a good deal better.

Which hero items fit to Gengar? Genggar's hero items should increase its mobility or strengthen the special attack:

  • Float Stone (Ang / Speed): Increases movement speed if you are not in combat
  • Wise Glasses (SP-ANG): Increases your special attack value
  • Sp. ATK specs (SP-ANG): Increases special attack value if your points lands
  • Shell Bell (SP-Ang / cooldown): Meet with an attack, you will be cured

Which fight items fit to Gengar? Here you can think about whether you want more mobility or rather an attack boost:

  • X Attack: Increases the attack for a few seconds
  • Eject Button: Little jump in the desired direction

Gengar: A Speedster with a lot of damage but little synergy

What makes Gengar strong? The Moveset of Gengar brings you hard hits and a lot of force. As his biggest strength, the interaction of the attacks "Hex" with "Sludge Bomb" applies. While Sludge Bomb missed your opponents a poisoning, you can use the status change to strengthen Hex and almost completely bypass the Cooldown.

Strong for a Speedster are also the passive skills. "Levitate" lets you run outside the fight faster and as a third base attack you have a little dash that hurls you a few meters towards the goal.

Noteworthy is also Genggar Unite attack. You are briefly invisible and have increased speed of movement. If you activate the Unite-Move a second time, your surface damage causes you around you and slows opponents - also a suitable move for a Speedster.

What can Gengar not so good? Gengar is not the fastest among the speed star and does not have a quick-loading dash, which it could take advantage of escape or locomotion. Hex is mostly too valuable and the recharging lasts long to start the cooldown.

In addition, Gargar develops only at Level 9. Before you are on the road first with the weak nebulak and develops on Level 5 to Alpollo. You must then collect 4 levels to start Gengar development. Many competitors with 3 developments already go to level 7 in their latest development.

As a Speedster since you also very "Squishy". That is, you have relatively little life and defense. Caught yourself another Speedster and you have all the skills in the Coldown, you are done quickly. This also applies if your attack goes for or an unexpected opponent in a fight. You have to play Gengar very carefully, because you just keep a little out - Gengar offers high damage, but also high risk.

Last but not least, Genggar is not a good team player. With good agreement and or / or experience with the synergies between the monsters in Pokémon Unite, Gengar other Pokémon can also make better. But generally she helps you more yourself and benefits from the skills of the others. Let yourself be helped by tanks or supporters on a lane and get Gengar with it faster, that can be quite strong.

Advanties and disadvantages of Gengar

Per

  • Strong damage
  • Interaction of skills Hex and Sludge Bomb
  • Matching passive skills for a Speedster
  • Strong Unite-Move for a Speedster

Contra

  • In comparison Slow Speedster
  • No real escape
  • Little synergies with other Pokémon
  • Late development to Gengar

Who should Gengar play? Role, Lane, Properties

Which lane is suitable for Gengar? Main role of SpeedSter Gengar is the Jungle, so the middle lane. As long as you are Nebulak, your player fighting should be as well as avoid and focusing on the Jungle monsters. From Level 5 you can look by Alpollo on the lanes and help finish enemy players. With Level 7 and the skill Hex you can get started correctly.

Genggar can also score as an offensive support for Pokémon with more defense. With "Lick" you can use early enemies and "Will-O-WISP" can harm the NPC opponents on the Lane thanks to "burning" and even meet several enemies.

However, the synergies with other Pokémon are limited to boundaries and the Jungle / Mid-Lane is the most suitable playground for Gengar.

For whom Gengar? The Spirit Pokémon is not for beginners. Do not know each other in Moba's or do not know how the matches expire in Pokémon Unite - Gengar dear in Pokéball. Because you need a good sense of when you will be used in a match where.

If there is then at the latest with the emergence of Zapdos to the team fight, you would also have to retire and then at most with Sludge Bomb land regular hits land. If you are in the fight with hex, it can be over quickly.

A good mix of aggressiveness and restraint is required with Gengar. A mix that is usually acquired as an experienced player.

Details for Gengar:

  • Role: Speedster
  • Lane: Mid-Lane
  • Type: special attack
  • Basic attack: Melee
  • Third attack: Dash on opponents

Genggar Guide - How to play the scary Speedster

as Nebulak to Level 5: First activates the Attack Will-O-WISP with the fire. Are you still a little nebulak, keep back. You can not use player fighting, because all skin. At the beginning in the jungle (Mid-Lane) and Pertig you high up to stage 5. Observes the fighting on the lanes over the mini map and estimates which page has more problems to keep the line. But stays in the background and farming jungle monster.

As Alpollo until level 7: With your development to Alpollo you can select the sludge bomb and thus have a strong ranged attack. Needs a Lane help, you can already align a lot with the attack. However, it does not go completely on attack, you are still very "squishy" and a light sacrifice, if you trust you too close to the opponent.

If the LANES credo, but you should continue to collect through the jungle and level. Always remain movement, kills jungle monsters and helps to go without down.

From Level 7 as Alpollo / Gengar: As soon as you have unlocked the attack Hex, it can start. Your strong combo, for which Gengar is so cursed, is ready. Throw your sludge bomb on an enemy and attacks the poisoned opponent then with Hex. Depending on the situation, either uses hex again or uses the second hex attack for a flight direction in your ally.

Get Next Jungle Monster when it allows the match dynamics. But looks increasingly on the lanes and possible opponents who are on the way alone. From now on you need a good nose for the Lane fights and runways of the opponents:

  • Do I help a lane during breakthrough?
  • Does the lane survive the attack or do I have to help?
  • Do I lure on the edge of the Lane on an opponent removed from the group?
  • Do I snap my enemy with little energy?
  • Do I do further many jungle monsters to collect an EP advantage for the team?

Before it comes to the team fight and all 10 players start at each other, the "Jungler" on the Mid-Lane must be in the right place at the right time. This makes the role hard for beginners, because you have to "read" the match to make the right decisions for his team.

As Gengar in the team fight: Your strong combo also helps in the team fight, but can start back quickly. Bombard the battlefield from the second row with your Sludge Bombs and is waiting for the right occasions to eat opponents. If an enemy remaths too far from the battlefield or have many opponents already used their attacks, jumping in with hex after a sludge bomb in and escapes with the second hex again.

You can also run into the group with your unite move, causing damage and with the Hex-Move again. But always tries to true a respectful distance to the fight. An incorrect step and your Speedster will itself be nibbled.
