Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Graphic comparison between Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
After Shadow of the Tomb Raider received his next-gene update on the PlayStation 5 and thus playable on the new Sony console, the game has undergone another graphic comparison. The game runs over backward compatibility on both Next gene consoles.
The results are extremely impressive! So the Xbox Series X comes to a native resolution of 3712 × 2088, which corresponds to 7,750,656 pixels.
The PlayStation 5 version achieves a resolution of 3840 × 1080 in the Checkerboard method over the backward compatibility, which scales the vertical resolution. These are 4,147,200 pixels and 3,603,456 pixels less than compared to the Xbox Series X.
The Xbox Series S version runs at 1600x900p with the same graphics settings as the Xbox One. In power mode, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions work with a 1620p resolution using CheckerBoarding.
At the loading times, the Xbox Series X has ahead, which seems usual for all AK games, as only the new Microsoft consoles releases the full hardware power even in older compatible games. Here the Xbox Series X / S invites around 16 seconds faster than the PlayStation 5.
