Randy Pitchford reorganiza Gearbox Software Gearbox Software, LLC (gearbox, engl. wörtlich Zahnradkasten bzw. Getriebe) ist ein US-amerikanisches Computerspiel-Entwicklungsunternehmen mit Sitz in Frisco, Texas. Es wurde im Januar 1999 von mehreren erfahrenen Spieledesignern (u. a. Randy Pitchford) in Dallas gegründet. Seit Februar 2021 ist Gearbox ein Geschäftsbereich der schwedischen Embracer Group.

Randy Pitchford of Gearbox Software has announced its resignation from the position of the President. Randy remains in the company and becomes CEO of the parent company Gearbox Entertainment. Here he focuses on the newly founded Gearbox Studios, which take care of the fields of film and television.
